Custom Tracks

I want MusicWave to have a strong community which is why the game fully supports custom tracks. Players can create, share, and play other's songs. Is your favorite EDM song not in the game? Just create a song chart for it and upload it for the world to play!

Downloading Custom Songs

Unfortunately, as of now, MusicWave doesn't have Steam Workshop support. This means custom content must be downloaded from external websites. To makes things as organized as possible, I created a subreddit for uploading and downloading custom songs.

Downloading and adding a custom song to the game is super easy!

  1. Choose a song you want and download it.
  2. Place the song folder in the 
    Documents/MusicWave/Custom
    directory.
  3. Done.

It's really that easy. Here, try it with this song.

Creating Custom Tracks

Song charts are generated from MIDI files through the song generating program. To learn more about creating custom songs, watch this video:

The song generator creates a playable song file from a properly formatted MIDI.
